i can't believe that today is july 1. 31 days of freedom left for me. the past few weeks have been so much fun. first i must say that if you are not watching last comic standing on nbc you are missing out. julie, edwin and i have made it a staple in our lives. it is so much fun getting to watch comics. i love it. after the show we like to get ice cream. now we like to think that we are somewhat of ice cream connoisseurs. we are very faithful to what we like. bops was our fav for a long time until brewsters came along. their peanut butter cream is to die for. but you have to get there early because it is always one of the first flavors to go. well juls, edwin and i had the best time we laughed so hard, you must try the white turtle, i recommend a double. we tried so many kinds. they will let you taste as much as you want. we were full just from the samples. i wish i could remember what all was so funny. oh well. the next day our precious jessica came to town. since i have a free schedule i got to hang out with her all afternnon. btw stein mart is a great place to relax and catch up. we enjoyed their little bistro tables in the back with the luggage. that night juls, sarah e, lb, jess and i got to catch up. it is so rare for us all to be in the same spot. i forget how much fun it is to be doubled over in pain from laughing too much. girlfriends are the best.

Mere, we had an extraordinary time at the campsite but there was never enough down time to sit around a campfire even once and sip wine with all of you. Evenso, we managed to get the Some-mores cooked. There was so much other fun stuff going on, that evening came upon us before we knew it and was time to leave before lights out. Rivers End will be a lasting memory for me on where to eat. The Chatooga is engraved in my mind as the fabulously exciting experience with your adorable brother. Your mom and I caught up on five years of conversation. My nephew is the most creative camper/chef alive and an awesome dad. He has given the campground a real touch of chic. I've looked and looked at my photos and thought how much we loved our time with all of you. I have wondered if your sister got straightened around in her new surroundings and situated in the new job. Ask my sister to send my new email addy to you as I got wireless installed today and have a new home email address. We laughed and laughed at the flamingo note on our car the morning we departed and were amazed that your mom would have gone to all that trouble for us. It was such a sweet thing to do. Love and kisses to all of you. I miss you already.
We have done some really fun family stuff. Don't you just love Aunt Sue and Uncle Lyle. What a treat is was to have them with us in North Carolina. Now you have to get Aunt Barbara, Aunt Cathy, and Uncle Alan up there. If anyone can do it, you can!
