Walking in a Winter Wonderland!!

Christmas is always an interesting holiday for my family. My sister and her husband both work in the news so we schedule Christmas around them. This works very well for our family. We had our family Christmas this past weekend. This is also the weekend before Sam and Isabel's wedding. Being around our growing family was so much fun. I love that I get to have a new brother and sister added to the family. Gabe and Isabel are priceless. They fit into our family seamlessly. Isabel was up before us helping mom get out the china and setting the table. Gabe just settles in and does whatever needs to be done.

A couple of years ago mom had hidden presents all over the house. I think Christmas snuck up on her because when it was time to open gifts mom was a little less then prepared. She would go from room to room, hiding place to hiding place looking for a girft. When she found one she would say "I got one for (insert family member here)" We would close our eyes and mom would put it in our lap. We laughed the entire time. Mom was still finding gifts that she had hidden days after we all gone back to our houses. This year mom and dad had each of us, there are 5 now, a huge bag. It was filled with all of our christmas goodies. For some unknown reason Mom was possesed to but Flarp. This is a goo that is in a little plastic canister. You stick your finger in and it sounds like, you guessed it, a fart. My mom is so against these types of sounds so we are still not sure about her state of mind during this purchase. The other mind blowing part of this is that Miss Priss, Isable, was the most amused with the Flarp. She could not keep her little fingers out of it. To hear those noises from Isabel's direction really cracked us up. I think she might have enjoyed that present more than the gorgeous necklace Sambo gave her.

For Christmas Eve, Mom, Dad, Sambo and I went to Grandmothers. We had a wonderful lunch. That night we went to see Christmas lights. In Vidalia they had these little Christmas scenes. They were so beutiful. Hope you enjoy.
